DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

• On-site installation, retrofit, test, and servicing responsibilities 
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of electrical equipment installations.  
• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, distribution switches, breaker panels, conduit 1” – 2” EMT, install fire alarm components, teck cable and service cables. 
• Troubleshoot and diagnose existing lighting fixtures and systems 
• Performing routine preventative maintenance 
• Perform other duties as assigned 
• May be required to travel and work weekends, nights if required by customer     

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS 

• Certificate of Qualification as a 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician 
• 4th or 5th year Electrician Apprentice   

SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS 

• Knowledge of Ontario Electrical Safety Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and all other applicable legislation required. 
• Time Management 
• Organizational skills · Ability to work independently as well as work in a team setting.  
• Must have a strong command of the English language, both verbal and written    

EXPERIENCE 

• Must have a minimum 4 year experience in the electrical field
